Leaving Delhi always has some magical effect on me & I tend to write somethig or other! Though there seems to be no relation between most of the sets… but hey, I aint a poet
This is my second creation & i’m kinda looking forward to it ![]()

A touchy tribute by SandyTheFire
March 23rd, 2006
This morning, when i fired up my evolution, Sandy’s mail was waiting expectingly… that Maku will come & open me up
Google had sent me this invite too for googlepages, but because lack of time & other things occupying my tiny mind, all i created was this.
However today’s mail from sandy was something that touched me.
Have a look at this yourself.

Thanks Sandy ![]()

Aaj main khush hun :-) … Very happy, very nostalgic, excited, relaxed… all at the same time!
February 4th, 2006
Seriously!
I’m feeling all of these things together at this moment.
& the best thing that could have happened was that I met Sonika today. I had lost all hopes of seeing her again, forget meeting her. She was as composed as ever, was sporting big black framed spectacles, was probably looking thinner than before, had a different hair stlye… not to mention those little pimples
(i know, she’ll hate me for mentioning this, hehe). Also, she wasn’t wearing any heels this time, flat sole shoes… & obviously, my first question to her was that have you shrunk in size
& pat! came the obvious answer… nooo!
I can’t understand this, but god made some people in such a way that they always look nice in their pics. See for yourself!
& shayad, these are the only pics I have of her in which she is sitting still… lolz!
We discussed at length our new lives & specially our past lives, what went wrong, why & things. & after today’s meeting, i’m hopefull that i’ll be seeing her again.
In her own words… “Thinking positive is always better than thinking negative”. I’ll remember these words.
& while we were at Rani Bagh market, it happened so that Udit, Madhurima & Shweta turned up at my place for a surprise farewell. & since my phone was switched of, they were not able to locate me. Surprised themselves (that i’m no where to be found), they had a nice time at Gulab’s eating joint & left for home
This small farewell gift from them all, is nice. I appreciate there feelings ![]()
Talking of farewells, my HCLT team also had a farewell planned for me ![]()
Then at almost 10:30pm, vishal came to bid me farewell. His lappy is awesome! It will remain in my hit list for some long time to come
We went to market to buy some books (i bought Begining python & he bought OS fundamentals) & had choc pastries (eggless) too. We then together had diner & he left, dropping me at Sandy’s.
& talking of that, how can one forget Sandy bhai in all this. He is probably the person who is most hit by this decision of mine. He’ll be now almost alone, with no body to share his excitement of small hacks we always do together. Even i’ll miss those overnight NFS & Q3 parties (which we all used to call as our GAY parties). I’ll miss you alot Sandy!
Sandy bhai
Me, Udit & Sandy
I dont know how things will shape up in Pune, how good or bad, but i know one thing, i’m going to give it my best shot, come whatever may! I would like to thank all my friends here who helped me everytime I used to run into troubles, guide me with their brickbats & suggestions & what not. Sandy, Vishal, Manav, Shweta, Udit, Madhrima, Shobha, Puneet, Manuj, Neha, Gunjan, Swastika, Tanu… & everyone whome i’m forgetting in this list… i’ll miss you all. Keep in touch.
& yeah, finally before concluding my last blog from Delhi, I would like to thank my family - Sameer, mama, papa, snoopy & piddi. for being the wall of support that i always wanted. I’ll miss you all alot!
& hey Sonika, if you ever read this blog : I just want to thank you specially for today’s talk. Thanks. I feel much lighter now & genuinly hope the same for you too.
…Aaj main sach mein khush hun
